About US

Everyone knows that the Indian telecom market is one of the vibrant and fastest growing markets. After China, it is No. 2 market in terms of subscribers. When the market slowdown had been a spoil sport last year for every industry, the telecom industry in India had made a decent progress with 20% growth in the revenue of the equipment industry touching Rs. 115 thousand crore and 20.7% growth in the revenue of the service providers touching Rs 158 thousand crore.
The outlook for coming years is very bright. Triple play is the rule of the game. As per a TRAI report, India had 7.40 mn broadband subscribers in the time frame of 2008-09 but the industry is to go a long way. The much talked about mobile number portability and full-fledged 3G subscription are yet to happen.

Though the country has witnessed 100 per cent teledensity in urban areas, rural teledensity is only 19 per cent.
Given this situation there is a lot to do in this space. And, publications like Telecom Channels can add enormous value to the situation.

Published by Accent Info Media, the publisher of SME Channels, www.SMEchannels.com and SME channels News service (SCF), Telecom Channels is an exclusive business magazine for the telecom industry. It is also well bolstered by a dynamic website - www.telecomchannels.com and Telecom channels News service (TCA).

The magazine has been created with the patronage of a number of industry leaders. The objective is to bring best business and technology value to the industry with various storylines including views, news and trends of the industry.
